School Story
During high school Micci McInnes and I cruised a lot of houses throughout the avenues, monument park and Harvard area in her convertible yellow Volkswagen bug. Micci still owns that yellow VW bug. The car is an icon for me because everytime I see it in her Washington state garage I think of how much fun we had in high school. Cruising each other’s neighborhoods brought freedom and independence, and we were new friends who were loving some very short but valuable years that were the foundation of who I am today. I have loved every decade since graduating from East High. And Micci and I are still having fun and loving life! ❤️
